We’re looking for an ambitious SEO Marketing Executive to join our team of talented digital marketers on a fixed term contract basis for 6 months. This is an excellent opportunity to become a part of a fast-paced start-up with a real focus on organic growth. You will have the opportunity to make a real difference at LoveCrafts, while being fully supported along the way with plenty of opportunities to develop your skills and learn new ones.

You’ll be supporting the SEO team on all organic activities, such as SEO content writing, onsite optimisation, reporting and backlinking, as well as cross-functionally to support and educate other teams in the business.

What you'll be doing

-Support the SEO consultant and SEO lead in planning and execution of all SEO projects against SEO team KPIs
-Competitor & keyword research
-Research & outreach to other sites for partnership opportunities
-Write optimised page titles, meta descriptions and other onsite content to improve organic visibility in SERPs
-Respond to ad-hoc SEO requests, including technical fixes, from teams across the business
-Work closely with the content team to develop engaging content which supports SEO principles
-Assist in developing content marketing activities to help improve performance
-Collaborate with the influencer marketing manager on paid influencer & charity campaign strategy to help drive high quality backlinks & traffic to LoveCrafts
-Support on monitoring, tracking and reporting organic performance & success of individual projects & campaigns
-Be the advocate and the educator on SEO best practices for the wider business
-Keep up to date with advancements in the industry from both an organic search and general digital marketing perspective

 Who you are

-You’ve spent 1+ year working in digital marketing with good exposure to SEO
-You have a keen interest in startup businesses and would love to work for a high growth e-commerce company
-You find SEO fascinating and keep up to date with any changes in the industry
-You love a good KPI and have a results focused mindset
-You are very organised, have a great attention to detail and a real self-starter
-You are a good communicator and are comfortable working with both internal and external stakeholders
-You have a creative flair and like all things content
-You have ideally used some SEO specific tools such as Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs or Screaming Frog
-You have some knowledge of analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, RJ Metrics or Amplitude
-You have working knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets
