Now that our wider marketing team is expanding, we are looking for a knowledgable, passionate and experienced Project Manager with previous experience in email marketing. You'll be responsible for leading and maintaining open communication on all cross-functional projects that leverage multiple internal and third-party stakeholders, helping to shape and execute WeTransfer's emails across all products. You'll report to the email manager and work closely with our email specialist and email designer.

Key responsibilities:

    • Scope, plan, coordinate and manage multiple projects per year in close collaboration with internal stakeholders from multiple departments, helping shape the timeline, deliverables, budgets, and targets. For each campaign this includes setting timing and deliverables on briefs, including final delivery specs and hand-off instructions for our cross-functional teams to execute them with proactive planning and resource allocation.
    • Update email campaigns and status across our planning tools (Asana, Jira, GSuite).
    • Keep stakeholders up-to-date with email campaign progress and make sure all assets are delivered on time.
    • Hold meetings that detail upcoming deadlines, progress, visuals or blockers (and providing possible solutions).
    • Keep communication flowing among multiple slack channels.
    • Work alongside all members of the email team and provide clear deadlines on upcoming tasks as well as establishing priorities.
    • Have a bird’s eye view of all marketing projects as the owner of the project management tool, respective boards, calendar, and key milestones.

Essential requirements:

    • Minimum of 5 years experience coordinating cross functional teams to deliver complex projects on and offline.
    • Previous work experience in email marketing, and an understanding of what it takes to bring a campaign to life.
    • Fluent in English, with clear and concise communication skills (we're a distributed company across 5 global locations, multiple time zones and 40+ nationalities).
    • Proactivity and attention to detail.
    • Problem solving mindset and abilities.
    • Equally effective working in a team and individually.
    • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Bonus points for:

      • Positive attitude when facing difficult or overlapping tasks.
      • Familiarity with JIRA, Asana, Google Suite.
      • Drive to produce high quality output.
      • Ability to set realistic deadlines and goals (and keeping others accountable)
