Raw Materials Food Technologist
We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our Technical team as we continue on our journey as one of the fastest growing food and drinks brands.
This person will be an integral part of our ingredient technical team & work closely with our ingredient suppliers to ensure technical compliance of ingredients and product standards are maintained.
Based at our global HQ in Tring, Hertfordshire, you will be at the heart of our operations.
What you’ll be doing:
- Acting as the liaison for potential & existing ingredient suppliers ensuring all technical documentation is completed and approved
- Managing & communicating the relevant status of ingredients to our suppliers & internally
- Acting as the conduit for ingredient queries & supporting the ingredient technical team to respond to queries in a timely manner
- Providing support to the Ingredient technical team
- Using our specification system to ensure all data is uploaded, approved and correctly catagorised
- Developing an understanding of ingredients and our supply base
- Assisting with the practical testing of raw materials
- Being a point of contact for ingredients with our manufacturing partners.
Requirements
- A degree in Food Science / Technology or related experience
- Great attention to detail and organisation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team
- Highly proactive and process driven
- Personable and able to build and maintain strong working relationships
