The Opportunity

Featurespace have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Technical Delivery Lead to join our delivery function in our Atlanta office.

In your role as TDL, you will help us achieve our goals and deliver success on behalf of our customers by owning the solution as the main technical subject matter expert for both the customer and Featurespace delivery team throughout the delivery life cycle, and ensuring that the customer gets what they have contracted for – that this has been designed, that it is comprehensively tested and implemented successfully in a way that delivers value to their business.

You will apply strong solution expertise as well as solid understanding of business processes, to design and deliver high quality projects and support our customers in the successful adoption of ARIC. You will be working closely with the Project Manager as an integral part of our delivery team on projects across multiple industries, with particular focus on banking, payments, insurance, and gaming.

The Technical Delivery Lead role requires strong analytical and problem solving capabilities, good communication and presentation skills, and an ability to deal with changing environments and to operate independently in order to provide the client with world-class service on a consistent basis. You will be working on various aspects of the implementation process including requirements gathering, design, configuration and customisation, integration, testing, deployment and handover to BAU.

You will need to quickly gain a deep understanding of the complexities of implementing our software and be able to explain the details to internal and external audiences with a range of backgrounds.

Day to Day

  • Act as the main technical point of contact and technical SME for the customer and delivery team throughout the delivery life-cycle (i.e. from kick-off to handover to BAU)
  • Gather technical requirements and propose solutions based on client’s needs, balancing best practices, optimal delivery strategy limitations, and an evolving ARIC product

  • Work with the architecture, engineering and data science teams to distribute key knowledge and answers to customer questions before, during and after the implementation process
  • Troubleshoot collaboratively as customers integrate with our platform, guiding them through technical documentation and assessing root causes for errors
  • Provide feedback to product, engineering, architecture and implementation teams to improve outputs based on customer experience
  • Document process, product, and industry learnings to identify pain points and trends to help the team and organisation grow and improve
  • Work closely with our Presales, SME and BA teams to understand and clarify the functional requirements of the solution that our customers want
  • Work alongside our account management and data science teams to ensure the successful post-implementation realisation of value for our customers

About you

  • Considerable experience of delivering large software implementation projects, ideally as a systems integrator or technology vendor serving an external customer

  • Software engineering experience, understanding of software engineering development processes and lifecycle including software delivery methodologies and best practises
