Full Stack Developer – Java (Israel)
The Opportunity
We are looking for a bright, flexible and enthusiastic candidate to join our growing Tooling and Infrastructures team, to be based in our Rishon LeZion office in Israel.
As a Full Stack Developer, you will be developing tooling for infrastructures and to help improve engineering velocity and product excellence. In addition, you will be part of task forces to provide ad hoc solutions for internal and external usages.
Day to Day
- Work within a small team to design and implement a broad range of smart and scalable solutions to be used by Featurespace’s different departments and customers
- Delivering new features: from specification, through development, QA, and into final deploy
- Providing input into future technology development or to simply improve current codebase
- Work with teams from different departments to ensure the right tooling is being developed for the users’ needs
- Supporting your code throughout its lifetime (technical design, individual contribution, and thorough testing)
About you
- Experience of Experience of designing, building, and maintaining complex web applications (ideally Java, Spring)
- Experience with single-page architecture, front-end application frameworks (ideally React, Carbon)
- Experience with low- and hi-fi mock-ups and translating them into polished and resolved UIs
- Experience of relational and/or NoSQL databases for large datasets
- Comfortable working with large codebases
- Ability to manage and prioritise your own workload
- External API integration
- Code profiling and performance tuning
- Cloud platforms and automation
- Modern IDEs, source control and continuous integration systems
- Web services – HTTP API development
- Message queueing systems – RabbitMQ / ActiveMQ / Kafka
