Our team of designers, developers and project managers work closely with our product, marketing, advertising and editorial teams. For any of these projects to happen, we need to be a well-oiled Studio supported by a Senior Studio Operations Manager who is driven by efficiency and operations. You’ll help facilitate the day to day operations, reporting, and data analysis to support the long term business goals of the Studio, partnering closely with the Head of Studio. You understand the specific skill sets and nuances involved in Studio operations and helping run a creative department, from a broad level you understand and are excited about the creative (digital) process, and you will work alongside designers, developers, copywriters and project managers to take the WeTransfer Studio to the next level. You will lead processes, create reports, update tooling, onboard new hires, and keep a consistent flow within the Studio. You have a strong work ethic and know how to navigate conversations with high value stakeholders. You have patience, can make sound decisions, and can see a long term goal and put the steps and substantiation in place to achieve it. But above all, you take pride in your team, the projects and quality of the work we are doing. You will report into the Head of Studio. 
 
As a senior member of the Studio, you will ensure standard operational procedures are followed, often working closely with the Studio’s Project Management team, you identify inefficiencies in workflow and strive for a culture of creative cultivation and continuous improvement. Maybe you’ve even once said that “problems are only challenges waiting to be solved”. When faced with difficult problems or unpredictable deadlines, you make thoughtful choices, and bring a good sense of humor.

What you will be doing:

    • Supporting and working closely with the Head of Studio and Executive Creative Director to continue to establish the Studio as a creative industry leader and production partner for our internal and external clients 
    • Reinforce and help implement company strategy and objectives
    • Responsible for helping define and support Head of Studio with day to day operations, while working to implement long term goals
    • Owner of all internal tooling and data analysis 
    • creating monthly, quarterly and annual reports
    • comparative analysis of reports and targets
    • Studio team timesheets and tacking hours towards business segments
    • keeping an eye on the general hygiene of the tool 
    • Analysis of past and future financial forecasting for Studio 
    • Uncovering opportunities to improve ways of working, process, training and general operations of Studio 
    • Translating reports and data with Head of Studio to share with key company stakeholders
    • Work with Head of Studio to ensure Studio has proper equipment and technology
    • Processing new Full-Time and Freelance hires
    • Help prioritize various stakeholders needs and maintain good relationship with all internal and external clients/resources
    • Support with day to day management, general operations, and facilitation of physical Studio at WeTransfer office (we are currently remote, ideal candidate is based in Amsterdam or willing to relocate in the near future)

What you bring to the table

    • 7-10 years experience as a Studio or Operations Manager
    • 2-3 years managerial experience 
    • A digital understanding, ideally from the agency world
    • Financial acumen 
    • Mastery with standard project management procedures, tools and Excel 
    • Ability to design and implement relevant processes and tools to optimize efficiencies
    • Excellent communication, prioritization and time-management skills
    • Detail-oriented, highly organized and natural multi-tasker
    • Manages stakeholders effectively and communicates expectations clearly
    • The ability to work fully independently
    • A positive and proactive attitude and the ability to enforce deadlines
    • Long term strategic planning while creating clear short term milestones and objectives
    • Adapts easily to change
    • Excellent English is a must-have
