Head of Social Media

The foundations have been set and the community is growing. We now want to grow it exponentially across the world. We are looking for a Head of Social Media and community who can look at this through a new lens and take Huel to new heights We are looking for an ambitious leader who will build the team, the strategy and the plan but importantly you will roll your sleeves up and deliver it as well - we are a high growth, scaling business and it's all hands on deck. This role is based in Tring/London/home
What you will be doing
- Building a strategy and measuring to drive each of our channels figuring out how to grow our communities whilst maintaining our strong engagement and reach levels. You are ahead of the rest in terms of what's happening on social and bringing it into Huel, helping us test and learn
- World-class content and creative - leading the team to plan and create content but also rolling your sleeves up, coming up with ideas, making them happen, obsessing about the results
- Living in the social world - you will be naturally switched on to social as it's your passion but you will be obsessed also with what’s going on in culture and what other brands are doing and constantly feeding it into Huel
- Results! You will be Measurement and tracking- proving to the business the value of social media, establishing what is working using the right tools and systems, setting up and sourcing - but in a nimble and fast way
- Building a team and talent - We have a strong but small team in place and are looking for the best to come in and lead and build the team we need to make this truly world-class. You will need to roll your sleeves up and get involved - it’s about you and the team doing this, not out-sourcing to agencies and sitting back and waiting. We hire the best at Huel and you will know how to find them
Requirements
- You will know social inside out - you live and breathe it and can show us brilliant results on other brands. You will also be ahead of the game on new and emerging channels and are passionate about brands in and marketing in general
- You are hungry for results, get stuff done, work hard and want to make a difference to one of the world’s most exciting brand. How many years of experience is irrelevant - we care about what you have delivered
- You will be a proactive, creative and hardworking individual who is genuinely passionate about influencer marketing and social media.
- Strong collaboration across the business with performance marketing, organic social, PR to amplify content and partnerships specifically and wider stakeholders
- You can build and lead a team. Huel is already one of the top companies to work for in the UK, you will make it even better for the large team you will build
- Understanding of the intricacies of working with influencers, how to get the best results out of them and agencies
- Strategic brain able to think creatively and commercially and switch seamlessly between the two
