Hello, we’re Farewill. And we’re on a mission to reinvent an industry and help change the way the world deals with death.

Dealing with death — losing someone close to you — is the hardest thing most people ever go through. People want to do right by the person who died, but for too long the industry hasn’t done enough to help. Instead of helping people find the kindness, love and connection in death, dealing with death is a dreary affair with top hats, paperwork, and bureaucracy.

We believe it’s time for a change. At Farewill we build the best products in the world for dealing with death. Beautifully designed, easy to use, built for taking care of the people you love.

To help us achieve our mission we’re looking for a talent acquisition lead to join our people team and manage our recruitment function.

Requirements

You’ll be

A leader - we have an awesome talent team here at Farewill - there’s 4 of us at the moment - so you’ll need to be an expert at leading teams and creating the environment for the team to flourish. But you’ll also be leading the business as well, delivering manager training, consulting on resourcing strategies and leading and delivering talent projects. You’ll own the 360 degree process and make sure that managers have all the tools they need, and that recruitment is done in an ethical, fair and compliant way.

You’re a recruiter. It sounds obvious, but, there’s a lot to do from day one, so you will need to know how to manage the full 360 recruitment process, and, because we’re really building out our tech team here, it would be great if you’d worked in a technical recruitment function as well. You’ll also be hands-on with exec level hiring so you’ll be comfortable running exec searches and market mapping.

Tech and social savvy - we think engagement is key when it comes to attracting great people, so you’ll know your way around social platforms and be able to create compelling content to attract people to, and engage with our brand. You’ll know how to create and use an EVP to its best effect and build assets to support.

You’ll also have a keen interest in evolving recruitment technology with a willingness to embrace new ways of doing things.

An interviewer – You’ll have a good degree of expertise in the artistry of interviewing, you’ll know how to interview against behaviours, and you’ll be confident in making recommendations and giving feedback.

A people person – we want everyone involved in the recruitment process at Farewill to have a positive experience, so we need you to be someone who genuinely cares about candidates being treated well, and who cares about providing amazing customer service to the business.

You’ll have a commitment to helping us build a fair, inclusive and diverse team.

Into the numbers - we believe in using data to drive our decision making so you’ll be someone who knows how to use metrics and data in their decision making process.
