Senior Product Data Scientist
The Opportunity
We are looking for an exceptional individual to join our vibrant and growing Delivery team as an Senior Product Data Scientist, to be based in our London or Cambridge offices. This role will be involved in driving the Featurespace real-time ML platform (and its associated MLOps workflows) towards being easier, quicker, more flexible, and more expressive, for delivering analytical payloads into production.
Owning the design and acceptance of analytics features that deliver our strategic analytics priorities, you’ll also be responsible for guiding ML agile engineering teams through the successful implementation of these features
Day to Day
- Develop user stories and define acceptance criteria for new analytical workflows and features, both within the Featurespace ML platform and in any associated offline MLOps lifecycle stages
- Write design and requirements documentation for agile engineering teams so that they are able implement these features, consulting when questions arise, and providing feedback as features are in development
- Consult with analytical users to understand pain-points with existing analytical workflows to create user stories for improving the analytical user experience – Act as point of contact for discussing, triaging, and prioritising internal user feature requests and bug reports
- Stay informed of industry trends and internal research to understand how they will impact future analytical user requirements – also keeping informed of typical analytical configurations and models for our range of solutions
- Prioritise the analytics feature roadmap and work to groom the task backlog and to set and review specific sprint goals
- Participate in customer facing meetings to capture and prioritise low level analytical requirements
- Design and perform user-acceptability tests to validate that user stories for analytical workflows and components have been achieved, using appropriate data, analytical configurations and, where appropriate, Featurespace platform installations, which you design and provision
- Develop user-acceptability testing scenarios into demos for training and evangelising
- Document and demonstrate analytical workflows, create and deliver training to internal analytical users and support teams
- Review and approve function/API documentation produced by agile engineering teams
- Inform customer-facing documentation produced by our Technical Communications team
