We are looking for a (Junior) Project Manager - Hardware Engineering who is driven by structure and transparency. You want to work in an Agile/Hybrid environment on hardware projects?   • You support our hardware development teams and Product Owners in their daily workload on an operational level (e.g. maintaining project plans) and manage projects from initiation to closing
  • You coach teams from different departments (e.g. hardware engineering, product development) in order to ensure delivery and alignment, therefore you create and support transparency within teams
  • You will participate in defining new templates, procedures and processes together with our hardware teams
  • You work closely with an Agile Coach to develop and maintain schedules and workload estimates for your teams 
  • You develop schedules based on the specific defined outcome and based on our standardized product development process
  • You work with interdisciplinary teams in a Matrix organization, contribute to continuously improving the product development process, and drive change and transformation within the organization
Your fitness level
  • You have finished your studies in business administration, hardware or industrial engineering or in a similar related field (like TUM BWL)
  • You bring first experience in project management, knowledge in agile or lean practices is a plus
  • You have a first understanding in the complexity of developing hardware products
  • You are empathic and a strong communicator
  • You are a proactive person not struggling to take over the steering wheel and bringing in your ideas
  • You are used to a structured working style and have proficiency in problem solving and troubleshooting
  • You know how to work with Jira and Confluence, Smartsheet or MS-Project would be a plus
  • You have a well-founded technical knowledge and a deep understanding of process theory
  • You are fluent in English, German is a plus
Your training goal for your first 6 months
  • You develop a deep understanding of our teams, tools, and processes
  • You are a known and well-respected member of the project management team and the engineering department
  • You took over the responsibility of at least one project and guided it successfully through the existing workflows
  • You implement one “continuous improvement” action within your teams
