Financial Reporting Manager

We are looking for a driven Financial Reporting Manager with a passion for learning to join our growing Finance Team at GetYourGuide. This is a full-time role at our Berlin office. As Financial Reporting Manager you will report to Director of Group Reporting & Finance IT Systems.

Team Mission 

Maintain high-quality and compliant accounting and reporting for the GetYourGuide Group. We aim to accurately account and report financial information, in a timely manner and in accordance with corporate policy and accounting standards, to our internal and external stakeholders.

Your responsibilities

• Coordinate Group Audits and reviews according to IFRS and HGB
• Ownership of Group month-end-close process and time to report 
• Lead the documentation and continuous development if Internal Controls
• Manage the preparation of and distribution of financial statements and related reporting, maintaining the highest quality, reliability and accuracy standards
• Lead analysis and implementation of technical accounting topics 
• Lead optimization and process improvement projects, liaising with multiple stakeholders
• Lead the documentation of GetYourGuide Group accounting policies and procedures 

Your profile

• Qualified Accountant  (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
• Minimum 3 years in a similar role
• Strong IFRS reporting experience, HGB desirable
• Experience in a public market company is a plus
• Effective communication with stakeholders across all levels with demonstrated ability to explain complex issues 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills 
• Knowledge of S/4 Hana, OneStream and disclosure management tools a plus
