Manager, Creator Business Development

The Role

Jellysmack is seeking a highly motivated and organized Manager, Creator Business Development to join our growing team. This individual must have both experience with and a passion for Creators and the growing economy around them. As well as a passion for social video platforms such as Snap, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok but with a specific expertise on Snap. The ideal candidate should, specifically, have extensive experience in Business Development. Specifica Creator BD experience is a plus but not required.

This position will be responsible for supporting the VP of Creator Business Development who’s job it is to vet companies and opportunities for either M&A, investment or partnership. The Manager will work directly with the VP to assist in acquiring, building and maintaining relationships with the opportunities we are targeting. This person will help drive acquisition, investment and partnership decisions. They will report to the Los Angeles-based VP of Creator Business Development. They will play an extremely critical role in the overall execution of the strategy.

The Responsibilities

The Manager will also be responsible for making sure that we are up to date with all of our communications and maintaining a detailed timeline of our relationship building. The ideal candidate is a diligent, organized, efficient person who is as happy working with data.

• Meet with Start ups both alongside the VP of Creator Business Development and alone
• Make recommendations as it relates to our current opportunities
• Work cross functionally with team members as well as across the organization.
• Daily maintenance of our Pipedrive tracking system
• Present opportunities to internal stakeholders

The Qualifications

This person must be passionate about Business Development and excited to dig into the exploding Creator Economy. Expert in Snap Studio / Publisher / Analytics

• Experience working Pipedrive or other similar tracking platforms
• Deep understanding of new emerging markets
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Highly organized, especially digitally, with a keen eye for detail
• Excellent written, verbal, and professional communication skills
• Excellent Deck making skills
• A team player who is accountable, proactive, and solution-oriented
