About the role:

Jellysmack is seeking a highly motivated and organized Platform Operations Manager, EMEA to join our growing team. This individual must have both experience with and a passion for social video platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook. The ideal candidate should, specifically, have experience working within the YouTube CMS and/or Facebook’s Business Manager.

This individual will report to the Los Angeles-based VP of Platform Operations and play a critical role on the monetization & technical support fronts. The candidate should be highly organized, with a keen eye for detail. The ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment is a must.

Your mission:

· Investigate escalations from internal stakeholders in the EMEA region and lead them to resolution

· Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally in order to lead issue resolution across teams, and troubleshoot quickly and effectively to drive resolution

· Drive roll-out of Zendesk ticketing solution, including increasing adoption and creation of educational materials

· Respond to internal platform operations inquiries with high quality, speed, empathy and accuracy, developing and sharing expertise on all platform partners

· Play an active role by contributing to improving policies, product, processes and support system solutions.

· Troubleshoot or escalate platform operations issues as appropriate in a timely manner while communicating clearly and proactively throughout the global teams, until resolved.

· Develop and implement scalable solutions to support our global processes

· Work on projects as needed to scale and improve our platform operations resolutions

· Act as internal expert on platform platforms and content management for the EMEA region

· Forge relationships with local platform Strategic Partner Managers in EMEA

Requirements

A little bit about you:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3+ years of experience in a project/program management, management consulting,or operations ideally at a major social platform (Facebook, Youtube, Instagram, Snap or TikTok)
  • Experience in rolling out a ticketing system, such as JIRA or Zendesk
  • Experience in Operations, Optimization and Channel Services
  • Basic knowledge of Community Guidelines, Copyright and Digital Asset Management
  • Demonstrated analytical-thinking and problem-solving experience
  • Experience driving high-priority cases through process of resolution
  • Experience managing projects and coordination with a variety of global cross-functional partners, and communicating to a variety of audiences
  • Proficiency within MS Excel, Powerpoint, and Google Products
  • Comfortable discussing complex scenarios to clients and colleagues, and providing opinions on best course of action
  • Experience with metadata standards (music, video, etc)
