Accounting Assistant

GetYourGuide is the place to book the best experiences in destinations across the globe. We are now searching for a full-time Accounting Assistant to join our Accounting Services team. This role will be based at our Berlin office and will report to the Group Financial Controller. 

The role will support the Procure-to-Pay processes at GetYourGuide and other ad hoc reporting and transactional responsibilities of the Accounting Services team. 

Responsibilities 

• Support and participate in the invoicing process, including the review and registration of vendor invoices and credit notes
• Reconcile vendor accounts and open items, liaising with external vendors and internal stakeholders
• Support the team in preparation of monthly and year-end reports
• Continue to improve business processes and support ad hoc projects outside of business-as-usual

Your Profile 

• Experience of working in a finance department of a medium-sized company, ideally in the Procure-to-pay function
• Very good Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel)
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP in particular) is a plus
• Well-organized, detail-oriented and willing to work independently
• Demonstrate resilience and flexibility in a fast-moving environment
• Fluent English, additional language skills are a plus
