Who we’re seeking:

As the Content Programming Event Operations Specialist you will play a key role in keeping our passionate members, who participate in thousands of weekly events, actively engaged with Zwift.  In this role you will take the best of scheduled group events on Zwift and bring strategic smarts to make them as convenient as on-demand.  In your toolchest is a passionate community of Zwifters, a massive amount of experience data, a team of talented Community Support & Event Specialists, and 168 hours every week for you to schedule and curate.  Our schedule is your canvas and we need you to make a masterpiece for all of our global Zwifters to experience.

What you’ll do:

  • Define our ideal 168 hour weekly schedule incorporating Zwift, Partner, and Public Community events across races, group rides, and group workouts
  • Curate our weekly schedule down to the minute by minute scheduling to ensure we have the right content at the right times
  • Collaborate with Content Strategists and Content Managers to define ideal schedules for all tiers of Content Programming for Cycling, Triathlon, and Running
  • Identify underserved spots on the existing event calendar & work to fill them
  • Analyze and break down our population of members into understandable cohorts that we can design, build, test, and ultimately product content for.
  • Be prepared to take on additional content scheduling responsibilities, such as Pace Partners in the future
  • Act as an additional Event team resource to configure and publish events when additional resource is needed via our web-based event portal
  • Organize and drive the production and operations of our Event team ensuring our scheduled content is configured on-time and correctly

Your operational structure will support the Community Support and Event Specialists by helping them prioritize and produce scheduled content.  Their responsibilities include the following:

  • Manage new event requests from existing groups and also new event requests directed to [email protected] and [email protected] emails via dedicated CRM toolkit
  • Modify or update published events so they occur without problems for organizers or participants in a timely manner
  • Proof-read & polish event descriptions/titles to fit overall Content Programming goals for look-&-feel of events feed in the Zwift Companion App
  • Determine ways to improve the process via automation, including finding easy and safe ways to move clerical work to outsourced teams.

What we’re looking for:

  • 2 - 3 years of experience creating and managing market centric communications including community support, customer service experience, marketing, or public relations
  • An analytical mind that can segment data and make logical conclusions 
  • A customer-centric producer who is a self-starter and knows how to get things done with a team
  • Exceptional attention to detail with few data entry errors
  • Excellent interpersonal, writing, and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive thinker that likes to make life easy for and takes pride in helping others
  • A passion for learning and a solid grasp of technology (PC, Mac, iOS, and Android software and hardware) 
  • Collaborative team player that takes initiative to resolve support needs
  • A sincere and empathetic communicator
  • Skilled multitasker with multiple forms of input
  • Ability to adapt and innovate quickly
  • Willingness to additional hours and weekends when needed (infrequently)
  • A passion for sport

Bonus Points

  • Experience with CRM software (Zendesk, Kustomer, etc)
  • Experience with Project Management Software (Confluence, JIRA, SmartSheets)
  • Experience with data analytics platforms (Tableau, Amplitude, Periscope)
  • Online gaming experience (MMOs)
  • Cycling, running, and/or indoor training knowledge
