Senior Product Designer

We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our rapidly growing team with strong UI and UX experience who is able to think creatively and push the product to the next level. You will be an integral part of the Product Development team at LoveCrafts, developing features for LoveCrafts.com.

What you will be doing:

• Defining and delivering functional, simple and delightful user experiences for our website across all platforms
• Working through design problems from discovery to delivery, leveraging research and insights to set the right direction and to facilitate conversations
• Collaborating with other Designers, Product Managers, Engineers and Stakeholders across the business to achieve shared goals
• Planning and conducting qualitative and quantitative research, interpreting and sharing results and putting them into action
• Developing best in-class accessible visual designs with a keen eye for typography and colour and knowledge of responsive web design
• Helping to develop design standards across all teams and to define design team processes through thought leadership
• Always championing user needs 

Who you are:

• Designing delightful user experiences is the reason you get out of bed
• Have relevant product design experience
• Proficient in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD
• You know how to define user experience from positioning to pixels. You have experience designing for responsive web, defining UI styles, working with a pattern library or design system, and have a good understanding of interaction design
• You mastered a wide range of prototyping techniques at levels of fidelity
• You have a good understanding of front and back-end technologies and capabilities
• You are experienced in conducting research to gain insight and put it into action
• You have a constant desire to learn new technical & creative skills, always seeking ways to develop them, as well as willing to teach
• You are pragmatic, not dogmatic. Forever the pragmatist you adopt a balance of hypothesis testing, research, data analysis and experience to make well considered choices and compromises. You fall in love with problems, not solutions
• You are able  to clearly articulate your design thinking and process with robust rationale for your design decisions and iterate based on feedback from your team, users and stakeholders
• You are passionate, driven, adaptable, dependable and as strong delivering in a team as you are on your own
