We’re an ambitious company that is looking to continue our rapid growth. The successful candidate will join a fast-moving product team to help us drive these results. We've reached a stage in our product's journey where we want to focus on upgrading our stack to a new platform whilst maintaining great customer experience, and we are looking for an experienced product manager to help shape and guide how we do this. You’ll have influence over our existing products and architecture and will be working to support the existing systems as well as build the foundation of our future growth. If you have a strong understanding of what can make a good user experience and can balance customer needs with technical and business requirements, then this would be a great fit for you.

What you will be doing

  • Understand the needs of all stakeholders and combine business, customer and tech insight to to effectively prioritise feature development and manage expectations   
  • Manage the incoming support requests and prioritise them based on the urgency and severity
  • Identify clear, measurable metrics to define the success and monitor the performance of the solutions you are developing 
  • Collaborate with your Tech Lead and the wider development team to effectively deliver solutions and unblock development
  • Manage cross-team dependencies to go from idea to successful implementation 
  • Work with the design team to research and define solutions using customer research and external benchmarking
  • Flesh out these ideas in the form of user stories and prioritise the development pipeline 
  • Measure the impact of your product tests and changes, communicating this back to the team and wider business and using results to drive future decisions.

 Who you are

  • Have experience as a Product Manager in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, preferably a startup. 
  • Be a crystal-clear and empathetic communicator who can simplify complex concepts and ensure everyone is on the same page.
  • Be highly numerical and analytical. You love measuring and understanding the performance of your products and you are confident making decisions based on data. 
  • Have technical understanding of how web and mobile applications work - this is not a development role, but the ability to communicate with developers is key; some personal experience of web development would be a bonus!
  • Demonstrate some entrepreneurial spark - have created something, organised something or planned something worth talking about.
  • Be innately curious, and a maker at heart - someone who takes ownership and responsibility for their projects - not afraid to take risks to create a masterpiece.
