We’re seeking an experienced Senior Supply Chain Manager to join the team. Reporting into the Director of Supply Chain, you’ll oversee the fulfilment and logistics of our global supply chain.  You will truly own an entire region, ensuring our global logistics processes are best in class, developing effective & sustainable partnerships with our 3PL partners, building a world-class team, and generally strategising on how to best ensure an exemplary gift delivery experience for our customers.

You’ll work closely with key stakeholders across our organisation and supply chain to ensure everything runs efficiently and smoothly. We need you to be the go to expert on logistics in your region in order to drive our growth.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Ensure our gift delivery experience exceeds our standards for quality and timeliness
  • Build processes that enable your team oversee end-to-end management of our customers’ inventory and orders
  • Own Reachdesk’s relationships with our 3PL and delivery partners. Develop a deep understanding of their operations in order to respond to service challenges and drive continuous improvement efforts
  • Innovate and build on our current operations.  Help grow and improve our network by adding additional logistics panthers as our customers’ needs evolve.
  • Hire and manage top quality talent to support the continued success of the Supply Chain organisation.  Build the team of your dreams.
  • Evaluate partner performance via internal and external data. Hold our external partners accountable through regular business reviews and communication.
  • Partner with the Customer Success and Product & Engineering teams to diagnose and address challenges within our supply chain and supply chain-facing IT infrastructure
  • Partner with the VP and Director of Supply Chain to oversee new vendor RFP processes, vendor selection, and regular contract negotiations
  • Build internal processes to enable career growth of your team, ensuring strong employee retention and developing strong relationships with all direct reports

Requirements:

  • 4+ years work experience in operations roles, supporting a complex, high-growth organisation
  • Experience managing 3PLs, in-house distribution networks, or external vendor relationships
  • Highly-skilled with Excel
  • Experience with analytics and BI tools
  • Familiarity working with different enterprise systems
  • Cross-border shipping experience
  • Strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong work ethic; able to independently own and drive projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • You take previous reflections and learnings and uses them to improve processes, systems and overall work quality
