This small SWAT-like team will work cross-functionally with all departments within the organization to design and executive growth initiatives (experimenting, processing, scaling).

Data is the rocket fuel of the growth function, and we’re looking for an experienced Data Engineer to create the infrastructure that will enable effective and impactful analysis across the company. You will use various methods to transform raw data into useful data systems and you’ll strive for efficiency by aligning data systems with business goals.

  • Build integrations with 3rd party vendors
  • Build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency and other key business performance metrics
  • Create dashboards that help our stakeholders understand the performance of the experiments and help them make decisions
  • Interpret trends and patterns
  • Identify opportunities to streamline, automate tasks, and build reusable components across multiple use cases and teams
  • Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.
  • Work with stakeholders including Executives and Revenue Operations to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs

Preferred Experience

What you have…

  • 2-5 years of experience as an Analytics Engineer or in a similar role (e.g., Data Engineer, Business Intelligence, Data Science, etc.) with a track record of delivering large and robust data solutions
  • Expert knowledge of data warehouse architecture and hands on experience of data modeling design, building complex, scalable ELTs using SQL and appropriate technologies for a variety of different business use cases
  • Expert knowledge of data integration technologies such as Fivetran and Segment
  • Hands on experience on cloud-based computing services and data warehouses like Snowflake, Redshift, Google Big Query, or similar
  • Knowledge of data modelling tools such as DBT
  • Knowledge of programming languages (e.g. Java and Python)
  • Experience building reports with Tableau, Looker or similar BI visualization tools
  • Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases
  • Excellent communication skills with strong business intuition and ability to understand complex business systems; versatility and willingness to learn new technologies on the job
  • Great numerical and analytical skills
