The Role
 
We are looking for a highly ambitious Business Development Executive to join us. Your task will be to build a pipeline of relevant contractors and tradespeople across various locations and trades in multiple areas of the US who can subsequently be onboarded to the Plentific marketplace. You will be a highly motivated self-starter with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. You will be a highly effective communicator and respectfully persistent.
 
Responsibilities
 
Identify prospective contractors; explain how Plentific can deliver value to their organization
Develop familiarity with the contractor’s area of expertise, including, but not limited to trade, geography, business size and specialization
Complete cold calls daily to establish relationships with contractors and gain leads
Managing both outbound and inbound sales calls supported by marketing activity
Consistently meet programmed targets
Achieve sales targets and KPIs within defined period
Partner with service delivery team to ensure smooth transition into the Plentific platform
Assess opportunities and risks with your territory; recommend resolutions
Understand varying scopes of work of our property managers and landlords and convey those requirements to contractors
Develop and manage a strong pipeline with rigorous attention to detail via Hubspot CRM
Maintaining regular contact with contractors throughout the sales cycle
Foster a positive team environment
Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of internal and external data
Occasional travel to meet with contractors and assess and identify opportunities for growth or improvement of process
Perform ad-hoc projects and other duties as assigned
 
Requirements
 
At least 1-2 years of outbound business development experience
A can-do attitude and be willing to learn and be able to overcome challenges
Experience developing high value partnerships
Impressive track record of exceeding targets
Good technical understanding and excellent presentation skills
Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in sales
Ability to generate own leads and pipeline
Ability to work autonomously

Multilingual with a strong command of the English language and an emphasis on Spanish as a second language is a bonus
Experience speaking to contractors or related experience in facilities management would be highly beneficial
