We’re looking for a talented internal communications manager to join our People team, reporting to our Head of Employee Engagement. As the internal communications manager, you will be responsible for designing, delivering and measuring a programme of best-in-class, engaging and creative internal communications for our people, or ‘Modulites’ as we like to call them.

Your number one goal will be to bring your expertise to help us inform, involve and inspire our people and ultimately build trust and advocacy. You’ll be a superstar at producing attention-grabbing campaigns that make the best us of our channels to engage our people. You’ll have a can-do attitude, outstanding communication skills, a great eye for detail and eye-catching design, and strong project and campaign management skills in order to own end-to-end effective communications.

As Internal Communications Manager, you will:

  • Plan, deliver and measure engaging internal comms campaigns, learning from each one to improve the next
  • Work closely with leaders and teams around the business to produce and manage a single business communications plan that visibly displays all activities and enables us to deliver the right balance of communications, campaigns and events without overloading our people
  • Produce all communications in line with our plan, ensuring they are written in an open and honest style, with a clear call to action so that our team of Modulites feel connected to our vision and strategic priorities
  • Support the Head of Employee Engagement to create and deliver a programme of leadership communications and listening activities that gives our leaders visibility and connects them to our people
  • Use the best mix of our communications channels to ensure campaigns and communications are delivered in the right way to reach as many Modulites as possible
  • Identify, launch, manage and assess new and dynamic communications channels to continuously engage and meet the needs of our people
  • Work with the Head of Employee Engagement to deliver inspiring employee events across the business
  • Act as an expert to advise and encourage all people managers about how they can engage their teams through great communication
  • Ensure all new Modulites have clear understanding of how we will communicate and engage them
  • Manage the Modulr Communications mailbox and distribution lists on behalf of the business.

 About You:

  • 3+ years’ experience in an internal communications role
  • Highly organised and proactive – able to juggle and prioritise a busy workload
  • Creative thinker with excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to handle large amounts of information and distil into compelling and easy to understand messages
  • Team player with a can-do attitude, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues at all levels quickly
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • Bonus but not essential: Design package skills, such as Adobe Creative Suite
  • Bonus but not essential: Experience of working with internal social channels such as Slack, Zoom and Teams.
