Global Sourcing Lead (Talent Acquisition)

Our Sourcing team, part of the Talent Acquisition team, plays a pivotal role in creating awareness with candidates of GetYourGuide as a potential employer by sharing the stories that will make top talent excited about joining the company.
As the Global Sourcing Lead at GetYourGuide, you will be responsible for the positioning of the sourcing function as an enabler of global talent attraction and hiring. With your sourcing expertise and your knack for technology and innovation, you will act as a trusted partner in connecting GetYourGuide with the global talent market. You will work with stakeholders across the business in ensuring GetYourGuide's sourcing strategies target the right talent segments, and expand the channel mix based on the highest ROI. You will amplify the influence of the sourcing practice by training hiring managers and business leaders on how to build and manage quality candidate pipelines in a candidate-driven, post-pandemic world.
We are looking for someone who combines a passion for sourcing and recruiting with 2+ years of experience leading diverse, ambitious teams. Your responsibilities:
Partner with the business:
- Collaborate with Business owners, Directors and C-level executives to drive GetYourGuide’s talent sourcing strategy
- Manage a team of Technical Sourcers and continue to develop the Sourcing function into partners to the business
- Build talent pipelines through referral generation, employer branding efforts and other (creative) channels
Elevate the function:
- Think creatively to bring new initiatives and innovation to the team
- Train, onboard, and continuously develop your team’s growth
- Evaluate the effectiveness of sourcing tools and search techniques, and identify new tools to optimize the team’s productivity
- Use data to evaluate, streamline, and optimize the current sourcing strategy and update existing processes
Here are the skills we are looking for:
- 5+ years of sourcing and/or recruiting experience, including at least 2 years of people management experience, with a strong sourcing component and a thorough understanding of the technical recruiting landscape, challenges and opportunities
- A passion for people development and a track record of coaching and motivating high performing individuals
- A data-driven approach to decision-making that leads to increased operational efficiency and effectiveness
- Strong communication, interpersonal skills, team spirit and a desire to learn
- A growth mindset and a proven ability to come up and implement creative solutions
