Art Director & Motion Designer

We are one of the fastest growing podcast & audiobook platforms in Europe and we are now looking for a passionate Art Director/Motion Designer for our German team based in Berlin, to build an emotional relevance for our podcasts & brand, by activating our audio content through video and pictures in a unique and creative way. This is the role

You love podcasts/entertainment in general and storytelling through content and know how to identify ‘the right hooks’ to engage an audience.

You will report into the German Head of Marketing and have dotted lines to the Head of Content & Creator Activation. In your day to day you will work across functions within the local German team, as well as having strong ties to your counterparts in Spain and Denmark.

Your main responsibilities in this role:

• Lead the Creative development for our new audio show releases, across multiple consumer touchpoints, from ATL to Digital and be involved from the Cover Art to the video trailer and the creative strategy behind it
• Develop concepts and creative strategies that fulfil objectives of category, concept and brief and fulfil the Podimo brand vision.
• Direct variety of creative resources (agencies, freelancers, producers, videographers, photographers, writers etc.) on creative execution to ensure holistic creative excellence.
• Review and approve all stages of creative execution, both inhouse and from external partners.
• Collaborate with other members of the marketing teams to guide and develop narratives, write stories, and execute on a diverse style of video content
• Handle all logistics and communications around shoots, interfacing with third party vendors as needed
• Video all-rounder for production and post-production
• Creation of current broadcast formats for TV and digital platforms according to technical and dramaturgical aspects

• Naturally, being passionate and knowledgeable about podcasts, audio content, media, and entertainment is a big plus!
