WeTransfer is seeking an ambitious, dynamic and creative Sales Director to drive growth in the sales of our advertising solutions. The purpose of this role is to establish and maintain strong fruitful relationships with the key people within media agencies who will influence and direct advertising spend with WeTransfer. In particular, this role will focus on agencies in North America, LATAM and APAC.
You will be part of a growing team that is driven by commercial success and a belief that creative media can deliver amazing results. WeTransfer is a brand that people love and it has a genuinely unique place in the market. Opportunities for growth, both personal and professional, are superb.
What you will be doing:
- Establish WeTransfer as a leading brand building and business driving platform with key agency stakeholders, ensuring excellent understanding of the WeTransfer Advertising proposition
- Build a strong network across the agency and holding group, from media planning to C-level
- Drive sales success across opportunities within your agency patch
- Create education and inspiration focused programming that has a scaled impact across the respective agency patch
- Own forecasting and accurate agency opportunity analysis to support forecasting and planning
- Be adept at handling objections and points of negotiation from clients and agencies, even at senior levels.
- Input on the development off-the-shelf packages and opportunities across display media and branded content to take to market.
- Input on the future development of WeTransfer Advertising products, joining cross-functional teams to share the agency perspective and improve commercial viability
What you bring to the table:
- 8+ years of experience in Advertising and Media Sales
- 4+ years’ experience working with senior decision makers within top tier agencies and brands
- Track record of leading successful pitches and creating lasting commercial relationships with brands and agencies
- Track record in accurate pipelining and reaching sales targets
- A clear understanding of the media landscape and a passion for understanding and isolating the opportunities for WeTransfer in the market

- Excellent prioritization, organization and communication skills
