Child Safety Team Lead

About The Position

As a CS Team Lead, you will manage our amazing team of experienced intelligence analysts and researchers in the world of global child safety. You will lead a team with a great sense of purpose in preventing online harm towards children. 

You will routinely report to the Program Manager while maintaining a harmonious, positive, and productive working atmosphere.  

Key responsibilities:

• Managing the team’s day-to-day operations 
• Making sure that the team is on top of the game while keeping a high standard of deliverables
• Reviewing and approving deliverables
• Defining research goals and plans of mapping out CS-related ecosystems
• Thinking creatively and critically, solving problems on the go
• Supporting and guiding the team and assisting in their professional growth
• Being a POC with other stakeholders within the company, ensuring efficient collaboration
• Understanding the big picture in the CS field, staying on top of trends and patterns, understanding the bad actors’ Modus Operandi

• Leader and motivator with a proven ability to engage team members to achieve a common goal
• A getting-things-done approach 
• Excellent communication skills, openness to criticism, and aspiration for constant improvement 
• Multitasker - can handle many missions at the same time while working in an organized way
• Thinking creatively and critically, solving problems on the go
• Previous team lead experience (at least 3 years) - mandatory 
• Previous experience as a researcher or a webint analyst - mandatory
• High resilience dealing with sensitive and explicit content - mandatory
• Fluent in English - mandatory
• Additional language skills - a significant advantage
• Previous experience in the child safety field - a significant advantage
