We are looking for a Business Continuity & Operational Resilience Manager to ensure that in the event of operational disruption, Modulr minimises any impact to its customers, the wider financial system, and its own commercial interests.  This role is within the Second Line Risk & Compliance function and will report directly into the Head of Risk & Compliance (UK). The scope of the role will be to support our UK business but also co-ordinate and oversee this activity across our European business, considering the central oversight of partners and suppliers

The role requires a highly motivated and organised person who can ensure that our existing frameworks, plans and processes are developed and maintained to support Modulr’s continued growth. Strong engagement and stakeholder management skills will also be extremely useful

Who We Are

At Modulr our mission is to move money efficiently to power business productivity. We are building a new digital payments service to make money flow more efficiently through businesses and the economy. To achieve this, we have created the new digital payments account for business. This is a new type of payments account that is built for businesses that need faster, easier and more reliable ways to move money.

Our flexible platform and innovate approach allows our customers to utilise our payments account instead of a traditional bank account. Our accounts come with a sort code and account number, access to payment systems (eg Faster Payments and Visa) and everything our customers need from a payments account. They can instantly open as many accounts as they need, automate how they make and receive payments as well as the reconciliation processes these create. All in real time, 24/7 through their own systems utilising our API that integrates into any platform.

Our founding team has more than 60 years’ payments industry experience and have extensive experience of building and growing successful payments businesses, including CorporatePay a corporate prepaid card platform sold in 2012. Modulr is backed by Blenheim Chalcot, the UK’s leading venture builder. Founded in 1998, Blenheim Chalcot specialises in building digital businesses that transform industries. It’s portfolio of companies has sales of over £300m, more than 3,000 employees, and a successful track record of building over 40 companies across IT services and outsourcing, education, financial services, software, sport and media.

This is a rare opportunity to join an exciting, rapidly growing business, working in a tight-knit, high quality team with the experience to succeed in a fascinating and relevant market.
