About the role

As Reachdesk’s Senior Strategic Finance Analyst, you will report into the Director of Strategic Finance and be responsible for assisting on a variety of our highest priority finance projects to help drive continued rapid and measured growth. 

You will support the effort to build strong financial partnership and collaborate with management, the business, and functional groups globally to ensure we execute on our long-term business strategy, manage our finances, and take a data-driven approach. 

This is an ideal role for someone who wants to work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, and data-driven environment and have the opportunity to gain exposure to partnering with a variety of functions including product, engineering, growth, sales, marketing and data science. 

Key responsibilities include the following:

  • Support strategic planning across all areas of the company, partnering with a wide range of leaders throughout the organization to position the business for future success  
  • Partner on the long-term and short-term forecasting and planning process, including improving annual budgeting and financial forecasting while developing appropriate targets by collaborating at all levels of the organization, including business leaders and the executive leadership team
  • Drive performance across the entire business in areas of top line growth and operating leverage
  • Provide robust management reporting to the business leaders across the company
  • Identify opportunities, develop hypotheses, and execute in-depth analyses to translate data into insights and make recommendations to the leadership team based on your findings
  • Enable our organization to continue to be highly data-driven as we scale by synthesizing insights, building financial models and developing KPIs for real-time monitoring of performance, investor relations and fundraising

About you

  • 3-5 years of experience: 2+ years specifically in an FPA role
  • SaaS experience a strong plus
  • VC, PE, or investment banking experience a plus
  • You are analytical and data-driven - you can define KPIs and measure progress/success for your initiatives
  • You can think across multiple dimensions of a business (sales, product, engineering, marketing etc.) and work cross-functionally to deliver results
  • Experience with a fast-growing SaaS company preferred
  • High degree of organization and efficiency with demonstrated attention to detail
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on an ability to think strategically about the future of the company
  • You are a team player that wants to win while also having fun with teammates along the way
  • You want to work in a fast-paced environment with constant change
  • You are resourceful and not afraid to roll up your sleeves
  • Knowledge of SQL (or desire to learn) preferred
