About the Role

We’re seeking a Marketplace Account Manager to join the team. Working within the Supply Chain & Marketplace team, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and strengthening our relationship with our global marketplace vendors.

You’ll work closely with our marketplace vendors and key internal stakeholders across our organization to manage relationships with existing vendors.  We want you to improve our marketplace experience by driving forward company-wide priorities with our vendors, while identifying creative opportunities to strengthen and evolve our vendor partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage our relationships with existing marketplace partners, leading regular meetings to communicate Reachdesk updates, share customer feedback, and compile vendor updates and commentary
  • Act as the voice of our vendors within the organization, making sure agreeable vendor requests are prioritized.  Help guide internal product roadmap based on feedback,
  • Oversee negotiations and conversations with vendors regarding changes to marketplace product pricing, Reachdesk’s terms and conditions, and operational expectations
  • Manage recourse and improvement plans with vendors who fall short of customer service expectations
  • Partner with vendors and marketing team to develop comarketing and joint promotion opportunities
  • Partner with business development representatives on the marketplace team to ensure proper transition of new vendor management
  • Monitor and advise on any issues that present risks or opportunities to the organization

About you

  • 4+ years of operations scaling and management experience ideally in a high-growth / start-up environment
  • At least 2+ years experience in Account Management or Sales
  • Strong negotiation skills and comfort driving forward Reachdesk priorities
  • Demonstrated experience building partnership relationships within a multi-vendor marketplace environment
  • Bilingualism highly valued
  • In depth knowledge of logistics, including marketplace drop-ship models
  • Proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools
  • Superb communication (both written and verbal)
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
