Job Description

  • Investigate security alerts and Manage incident response
  • Monitor and respond to 'phishing' emails 
  • Manage Security request catalog
  • Monitor for attacks, intrusions and unusual, unauthorized, or illegal activity.
  • Participate in the evolution of detection capabilities
  • Document and maintain security use cases and playbooks.
  • Assist with the creation, maintenance, and delivery of cybersecurity awareness training for colleagues
  • Give advice and guidance to Nexthinkers regarding Security.

Qualifications

  • Passionate about Information Security
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field, or 1-2 years relevant work experience 
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and enjoy speaking with other technology stakeholders to advocate for security best practices and provide technical guidance and support.
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g. python, ruby, bash) 
  • Hacking mindset. You make finding bugs/exploits your mission.  
  • Analytical mind, flexible mindset, and result-oriented  
  • Strong problem-solving skills 
  • At ease in an Agile environment 
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, flexible and collaborative team 
  • Fluent speaking and writing in English. French and/or Spanish is a plus
