In your role as Commercial Trainer you will help us achieve our goals to ensure internal staff have high quality training and deliver success ultimately to customers by championing the onboarding induction, commercial training, and sales enablement for the Commercial function of the business. This will involve coordinating and creating contents, updating the Learning Management Platform (LMS), checking understanding through quizzes and accreditations and ensuring one source of truth for knowledge around the product, processes and domain. 

This role is based out of either of our Cambridge or London office.

 
 

Day to Day

 

As a company we hire people with a willingness to adapt to a variable role, so along with the key responsibilities below, we ask for ownership of any other duties as required.

  • Own all aspects of induction, training, and development for all teams within the Commercial business unit (there may be other internal teams that might benefit as well).
  • Responsible for scheduling and organising induction training for all new starters, ad-hoc training and ongoing enablement within Commercial for Sales, Presales, SME, Bid and Sales Support and any supporting departments e.g. Marketing, product
  • Follow up and check understanding with individuals post session and through accreditations
  • As the Commercial trainer, you will curate and create the content (videos, collateral and training courses) by working with various teams around the business including Product, Presales, Data Science and Marketing
  • Have an understanding of the product and processes in order to validate the content ensuring the messaging is clear and consistent from different sources
  • Maintain the Learning Management Platform (LMS) updating the course content, learning plans, and catalogues, quizzes, as well as enrolling people onto the correct courses
  • Feed into the strategy around training needs and requirement and any gaps
  • Running accreditations for all commercial members on sales deck and demo and tech deck for technical consultants
  • Ensure all training material is kept up to date and training and content is delivered to the highest quality
