In your role as Training Specialist and LMS Manager you will help us achieve our goals and deliver success on behalf of our customers by:

  • Developing and delivering training courses to enable our partners to understand and use the functionality of ARIC, and to enable them to support our customers in configuring and deploying ARIC and making the best use of ARIC’s capabilities.
  • Managing and maintaining customer and partner training materials and courses in our Learning Management System, to ensure we can deliver high-quality training to customers using e-learning and blended learning.

Your job title reflects your main specialisms within the Tech Comms team, but all members of the team are expected to be aware of the work of the other specialisms and be willing to help out where needed.

 
 

Day to Day

 

General Tech Comms team responsibilities

Members of the team are expected to build up and maintain good subject knowledge relating to ARIC. Broadly speaking, this subject knowledge falls into four categories:

  • ARIC UI functionality
  • ARIC backend functionality, including installation and configuration
  • AMDL
  • Supporting software, tools and processes developed for use within Engineering and Delivery (to the extent relevant for partners)

Partner training

  • Help to keep our training materials up to date, design new training materials, and extend and enhance our partner training programme
  • Deliver training to partners, via face-to-face classroom training and through remote training sessions or webinars
  • Help to set up environments for partner training and populate them with simulated data to enable trainees to use a simulation of a real production ARIC environment
  • Help to manage the end-to-end process of organising and delivering training with a partner, including requirements gathering and documentation, environment setup and creating any partner-specific training materials

LMS management

  • Create courses and learning plans in our LMS, and ensure these are up to date
  • Help to manage and maintain our LMS, including interfacing with other teams and stakeholders to manage access to training material for our customers and partners
  • Design the user experience and user journeys within the customer-facing LMS to ensure customers can find and use appropriate learning content
  • Assist other team members to create, edit and review video training materials
  • Work with stakeholders in other teams to ensure a co-ordinated approach to delivering training to our customers and partners
