Job description

What will be your mission? ♀ ♂

We are recruiting backend developers on permanent contracts to join our Tech department, made up of several product teams organized around OKR.

You will join one of these teams, based in Paris, Lyon or Nantes (full remote possible also), composed of several backend and frontend developers as well as a Product Designer and a Product Manager.

As such, you will contribute directly to the development, deployment and maintenance.

With the other developers, you will also participate in developing practices and technical architectures.

When you join JobTeaser, your mission will be to:
  • Develop our platform and build new products for our users (students, companies).
  • Develop, build and maintain API(s) and services with the JobTeaser technical team, in an environment including: Kafka, gRPC, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, Elastic Search and Redis
  • Identify and correct problems occurring in production at all levels of the stack (application, Kubernetes, SQL, etc.).
  • Contribute to the evolution of the architecture and a structuring into autonomous services.
  • Be involved in improving our development processes, tools and standards.
  • Actively participate in the life of the team (tech sharing, mentoring, etc.).
  • For senior developers, support and advance less experienced developers.

Qualifications

Who are you?
  • You think in terms of systems and service and you write quality code. We work mainly in Ruby, with services in Go and Elixir. However, we believe that languages ​​can be learned: we are much more interested in your ability to solve problems than in your knowledge of a language or framework.
  • You show for yourself and for others a certain technical requirement.
  • Leading a project from start to finish until it reaches production motivates you ("you build it, you run it.").
  • You are comfortable communicating with non-technical teams and understanding their issues and those of our users.
