About the Role
As the DevOps Engineer, you will be fundamental in monitoring current software deployments, finding any outdated revisions and maintaining the company’s infrastructure to discover any vulnerabilities in the system. Additionally, you will work alongside the wider engineering team to automate the CI/CD processes, to directly influence the efficiency and success of the department.
Key Responsibilities
Designing, building, testing, and maintaining the continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) process
Choosing the best tools and technologies the team requires to meet the business needs
Automating different phases of the DevOps pipeline
Monitoring systems for malicious activity and other anomalies
Managing the IT infrastructure
Performing on-call service
Ensuring system availability
Integrating and connecting application elements (APIs, libraries, SDKs, etc.)
About you
We generally don’t have hard and fast requirements - we really value that everyone is different. Core attributes and skills we are hoping to see highlighted in your application are:
Experience working in a software development team with a company in a stage of major growth.
Maintaining and troubleshooting Linux servers / DevOps applications
Strong experience across cloud Infrastructure; GCP and Azure preferrably
Strong experience in deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters
IaC with Terraform and Ansible
Experienced across CI/CD
Strong knowledge Cloud Security
Location
Red Sift is headquartered in London, UK, with an additional engineering office in Barcelona, Spain.
If you’re not in London or Barcelona, no problem - we are open to discussing remote working arrangements in other locations that have a similar time zone.
