Job Description

As a member of the architecture team, you will play a very important role in architecting and designing our next generation front-ends that power our Nexthink Experience platform.

  • You will be the main driver for all the front-end technology-related research and setup sound technology watch, ensuring we always leverage the best technology and tooling that fits our needs.
  • You will set our front-end standards and guidelines, and collaborate with all our feature teams and front-end design team to implement them.
  • You will coach and train front-end developers from different teams.
  • You will be helping to debug and ensure top performance for our front-ends

Qualifications

  • Strong experience in front-end development (React/AngularJS, Typescript/Javascript)
  • Experience building complex web and single-page applications with multiple components and teams, leveraging micro-frontend design patterns
  • Proven experience in mentoring, coaching, and helping several teams in front-end development and performance troubleshooting
  • Experience with front ends targeting REST and GraphQL backends
  • Experience working in an Agile environment, strong communication, and teamwork skills
  • Professional-level English spoken and written
  • B.S. or Master in Computer Science (or equivalent)

Valuable but optional knowledge:

  • Successfully migrated and onboarded a whole frontend community, on a brand new stack, toolbox, and/or practices
  • Building backends for front-ends in various languages
  • Microservices and containers experience
  • Good knowledge of core Java can be a very big plus
  • Kubernetes, Docker, AWS and NewRelic (or similar) is highly valuable
