Here at Nexthink, we are looking for a Tech Lead / Senior Software Engineer to join our Access Rights Management team.

Main functions:

• You will lead the Team towards delivery and own the Team's outcomes. You'll ensure Engineers are aligned, growing and the Team is effective. You'll represent the team within the company.
• You will work with direct reports: conducting regular one-to-one, ensuring team continuity. You'll care about Team health and growth.
• You will build the Access Rights Management module on AWS integrating with Okta
• You will build distributed cloud-native applications using a modern open-source technology stack.

Qualifications

Technical Qualifications

We expect you to write as much code as possible! Here are the technical qualifications we are looking for.

• Experience with IAM technology/products (ex. OAuth 2.0, SAML, JWT, SSO, Okta, IdP)
• Microservices and containers experience
• Solid knowledge of core Java 8+ features such as streams and lambda
• Experience with both relational (ex. Postgres) and NoSQL datastores (ex. DynamoDB)
• Familiar with Jenkins, Git, Gradle, and provisioning tools (e.g. Terraform, Ansible).
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Professional-level English spoken and written
• B.S. or Master in Computer Science (or equivalent)

• Good communication and coordination skills, and learning how to convince
• Empathy and naturally caring about team's health
• Teamwork (as you'll work with the Team, Product Manager, Architect, and Engineering managers)
• Willingness to transition to a leadership role as a next step in your career

Valued optional experience

• Experience with OAuth, JWT, Okta, SAML is a big plus
• Experience with Scala is a big plus
• Experience with React/TypeScript is a big plus
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Micronaut, AWS, or New Relic (or similar) is a plus
