Strategic Program Manager

As a Strategic Program Manager, you will align with the Product Development leadership and drive strategic programs and initiatives that lead to successful transformations in the organization. You are self-organized and will drive alignment between all stakeholders regarding the planning and execution of the programs and act as the main point of contact, fostering communication and visibility for diverse types of audiences in the organization. 

Your mission

• Manage projects and strategic initiatives from initiation to successful launches while keeping them on time, on cost, and on quality  
• Define the standards, program scope, structure the program execution plan, baseline the metrics, outline the success criteria, hold relevant people accountable and help achieve it 
• Foster collaboration across cross-functional stakeholders, orient everyone to the strategic goals, and drive the culture of focusing on outcomes 
• Identify and manage risks at the program level and produce mitigation plans to address the risks in a timely manner 
• Measure the progress of the programs using relevant KPIs and update the Product Development leadership with relevant data on a regular basis 
• Analyze the actual performance against the plan and implement corrective measures in a timely manner to ensure the end state of the program meets the objectives 

Your profile

• 2-3 years of experience in program management, driving strategic initiative in the product and engineering department ideally in a SaaS startup organization 
• Relentlessly organized, with strong time management  
• Ability to optimally manage input for senior leadership and executives with a solid understanding of their needs, ways of thinking, expectations, etc. 
• Data-driven decision-making mentality, sound business judgment, and the ability to back the analysis up with relevant analytical thinking 
• Prior experience working on large-scale projects and company-wide programs in an international setting in a fast-paced startup environment 
• Excellent written, verbal, and visual interpersonal skills, and demonstrated ability to influence and gain consensus at senior levels, and explain sophisticated concepts in simple terms 
• Ability to handle multiple competing priorities and prioritize based on ROI and business objectives
