Engineer - Cloud Dev (Hybrid)
The Opportunity
We are currently hiring for a Engineer – Cloud Dev.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a fast paced technology business, to develop their skills both with the cloud technology and our ARIC platform. It will be a chance to shape the next generation of our machine learning platform, and drive it to the cloud-native excellence.
You will also help us achieve our goals and deliver success on behalf of our customers by:
- Updating our real-time analytics platform by developing features which tap into the true potential of Kubernetes
- Working cross-functionally to embrace cloud-native best practices of scalability, resiliency, and observability throughout our stack
- Supercharging the development and delivery of our software by building cloud tooling to accelerate the build/dev/test cycle
Day to Day

- Delivering new features: from specification, through development, QA and into final deployment
- Awareness of how your work fits in with the team’s area of responsibility and goals
- Building defined features, investigating and fixing bugs, without supervision but with occasional support
- Performing code reviews
- Communicating progress regularly whilst identifying any blocking issues and escalating where required
- Maintaining and building good knowledge of the team’s area of responsibility
- Providing input into future technology development
- Developing and enhancing capabilities to progress the cloud roadmap
- Working with teams across the organisation to ensure the product can be deployed and upgraded reliably in a cloud environment
- Working with teams across the organisation to support rolling out ARIC to customers using a cloud environment
