Job Description

What will be your mission ? ✨

At JobTeaser, everything is geared towards helping young people find their place, and it all starts with career guidance! Thanks to our team of researchers in Career Psychology, we have developed 4 career guidance tools for students.

The mission of the "Research and Development" team is to provide talents and university Career Centers with scientifically validated tools and resources to deploy a large-scale guidance process. It is about innovation and thinking 3 years ahead to anticipate product needs.

Within the Data team, as a Researcher you will report to Mariya, our R&D manager, and you will work daily with our team of researchers. You will be supported by Amandine, our Associate Product Owner Guidance, who will be the link between Tech, Product and R&D.

JobTeaser's ambition is to reinvent and modernize career guidance and recruitment by focusing the matching between students and recruiters not only on the candidates' CV and background, but also on their skills, values and aspirations. Soft skills will play a key role in this process.

Your mission if you accept it:

Development and implementation of a scientific culture around soft skills in guidance and recruitment
  • Development and validation of the JobTeaser soft skills assessment tool
  • Scientific watch and literature review on soft skills and career guidance
  • Internal training and sharing - to spread the culture of research, innovation and "evangelization" around soft skills.
  • Scientific and/or academic publications related to the work of JobTeaser


Validation of psychometric tools in French and their adaptation in other languages
  • Contribution to the development of multilingual psychometric and reflective tools in the fields of career guidance and recruitment.
  • Effective collaboration with the "Guidance Tools" team on the integration of psychometric tests within the JT framework and on the implementation of engagement metrics as part of a continuous improvement process.
  • Presenting JobTeaser's work at scientific conferences and events for university Career Centers and recruiters


Ensure a rigorous and innovative scientific approach at JobTeaser:
  • Propose scientific and technical methodologies in line with recent research developments.
  • Ensure the proper documentation of the validation process and allow for constructive and grounded debate anchored in data


Qualifications

Who are you?

  • PhD in Psychology, ideally with a specialization in work psychology, career counseling or organizational psychology.
  • Expertise in Soft Skills (research, tool development, training program implementation)
  • Proven experience in research & development (positions and publications).
  • Expertise in data analysis and mastery of one or more statistical softwares (SPSS, R, MPlus, AMOS, Lisrel...)
  • Proven experience in differential psychology (creation/validation of psychometric tools)
  • Excellent writing skills and fluency in English
  • Experience in a corporate environment would be an asset for cultural adaptation (reporting style and management).
  • Strong ambition to innovate in the field.
  • Sensitivity to career guidance, data science and ethics.
  • Any experience in digital platforms will be an added advantage.
