The Role

We’re looking to hire a VP of Sales to drive and lead our sales efforts in Germany. This role will report directly to the CRO and involve managing multiple teams within revenue generation and go to market functions.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee business and revenue growth within the German market
  • Emphasis and focus on new client acquisition
  • Ensure current client satisfaction, own customer retention and extract growth opportunities
  • Maintain and oversee customer satisfaction within the marketplace
  • Manage, build, grow and lead the German Sales teams
  • Work closely with the CRO and other global stakeholders
  • Opportunity to manage and lead other functions beyond client sales such as Account Management, Customer Success etc.

Requirements

Skills

  • Able to forge high level trustworthy relationships with upper management within large accounts
  • Cope with relatively long sales cycles (~1 yr)
  • Ability to lead, sync and align internal functional teams toward meeting growth targets - Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Account Management, Marketplace/Supply Chain
  • Able to adapt quickly to change in a dynamic environment
  • Relationship builder and team player
  • Must have an audacious goals mindset and a ‘let's conquer the world’ mentality
Experience and Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in running a SaaS sales organisation through a phase of growth, scale and enduring success (from €1m ARR to circa €10M) in the German market. Europe remits (even partial) are an advantage
  • Proven experience in value-based-selling / consultative-selling in demand generation environments.
  • Sales management experience including sales teams
  • Cross functional experience driving matrix teams towards achieving growth goals
  • Proficiency in ‘land and expand’ methodologies (journey from point solutions to enterprise platforms)
  • Experience in the German real estate market is desired
  • Knowledge of the German association landscape in the housing and real estate industry is an advantage
