You will be part of the Financial Control team that oversees Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Banking, Treasury, Payroll, and month end management accounts production, amongst a range of other tasks.
Modulr Group is currently made up of six active entities, three of which are regulated. The Financial treasury Analyst is a new and exciting role within the Treasury team, which will play a pivotal part in our scale up journey.
What you’ll do
- Run daily, weekly and monthly models
- Liaise with the business to update modelling assumptions
- Carry out reconciliations and data validation
- Monitor and report on Key Risk Indicators
- Respond/Investigate/Resolve control warnings and alerts
- Prepare monthly dashboards including commentary
- Support delivery and embedding of future infrastructure – processes, systems, controls, models and reporting
- Own weekly cash summary setting out key movements
- Ensure bank accounts across the team are fully reconciled
- Monitor return on investments, ensuring cash is being appropriately held and accessible when required
Who you are
- Newly qualified, or qualified by experience, accountant (CA or similar) with minimum 4 years’ experience (experience can be pre-qualified)
- An interest in Treasury although prior Treasury experience is not required
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills and love working in Excel
- You’re not afraid to talk to the business and explain your model outputs and assumptions
- A self-starter and not afraid to roll up your sleeves and do whatever’s required to achieve the goals of the finance team and wider business
- Comfortable working in a scale up business, where time is critical, things change frequently and processes are being designed from scratch with little guidance
- You’re structured and organised, know how to manage your own time and are able to handle the competing pressures of immediate tasks and alongside longer-term projects.
