About the Role

We’re seeking a temporary Supply Chain Associate to join the team in Austin, Texas. Working within the Supply Chain team, you’ll support our global distribution & logistics processes, developing effective & sustainable partnerships with our 3PL providers to ensure an exemplary gift delivery experience for our customers.

You’ll work closely with key stakeholders across our organization and supply chain to ensure everything runs efficiently and smoothly. We want you to be an expert in our distribution and logistics, driving growth through sourcing new partners and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure our gift delivery experience exceeds our standards for quality and timeliness
  • Own and organize a region’s logistics supply chain, including coordinating inbound inventory, overseeing point of order to delivery, and outbound delivery
  • Manage Reachdesk’s relationships with our regional 3PL and delivery partners, maintaining a deep understanding of their operations.  You will be the point person to determine how effective and efficient their current processes are, advocate for operational improvements, and respond to major incidents
  • Evaluate fulfillment and logistics partner performance through performance data analysis, regular vendor review, and feedback sessions
  • Closely collaborate with the Customer Success and Product & Engineering teams to diagnose and address acute problems and areas for improvement with our logistics IT integrations
  • Manage the internal response to delivery incidents, working closely with the Customer Support team
  • Work with our 3PL partners to track and manage inventory and partner with our customer service team to manage any related customer challenges
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with customers and suppliers
  • Monitor and advise on any risks or opportunities within the organization

About you

  • 1-2 years of operations scaling ideally in a high-growth / start-up environment. 
  • Understanding of direct to consumer distribution and logistics
  • Superb communication (both written and verbal)
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Must be located in Austin.
  • As this is a contract role, are open to contract work with opportunity for extension.
