About the team

The Business Systems team at Camunda is a small and growing team - just 6 people right now. 

It is our mission to build a fully integrated technology stack which supports every Field Operations team member to do their job better, automates processes and delivers data insights to every member of the team.

We manage Field Operations, Camunda’s business systems stack, which includes Salesforce (using Service Cloud) and all integrations with Customer and Partner Portal (Allbound), FinancialForce, Dealhub, and different applications built in house using Camunda. 

What You’ll Be Doing

As Salesforce Engineer, you’ll play a vital role at Camunda in the Business Systems team. We are looking for a proactive individual that can help us continually improve and enhance our Salesforce platform. Our Salesforce user experience is of great importance to us, therefore you should enjoy all aspects of user management including support tickets and developing solutions with user satisfaction as priority.

This is a varied business facing role, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Implement (including meaningful tests and code review) new features in Camunda’s salesforce instance from Field Operations feedback using technologies like Apex, Visualforce, Javascript, Lightning Framework, SQL, SOQL, Flows, etc.  
  2. Responsible for the support, maintenance and development of Camunda’s Salesforce org and related and/or integrated applications, including but not limited to 
    1. Customer & Partner Portal
    2. DealHub
    3. FinancialForce
    4. Slack
  3. All aspects of user management including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups
  4. Data management to improve Salesforce data quality, implementing rules and automation as needed
  5. Identify areas of standardization  and simplification in Salesforce 
  6. Maintain and deliver a backlog of Salesforce issues in Jira
  7. Creating and maintaining confluence documentation
  8. Support Field Ops questions and issues via a dedicated slack channel which are related to Salesforce and related applications

*This is a remote role and can be based anywhere in EMEA.

  • You have experience as Salesforce Administrator /Developer (both point & click and coding) 
  • You are passionate about writing clean and maintainable code  
  • You do not just care about development but also care about how to deploy and operate software
  • You are curious and always willing to broaden your horizon

  • You are a problem solver and independent thinker
  • You have experience with Sales & Service Cloud
