We are looking for a (Senior)Technical Project Manager - Hardware Engineering , who is driven by structure and transparency. Are you able to coach the hardware development teams to new solutions for our EGYM machines using best practices from agile as well as classic project management tools?   • You coordinate and are accountable for the project management for our product development of our electronic fitness equipment with our cross-functional agile development teams using your ability to set short-term goals without losing the view for the long term strategy of large scale projects
  • You evaluate and improve our processes and structures of product development with the teams, drive change and transformation within the organization using agile methodologies as well as classic project management tools 
  • You collaborate with our Hardware Engineering Teams, Product Owners and other stakeholder (e.g. Document Control, Software Engineering or Sourcing) creating roadmaps based on standardized product development processes 
  • You manage the development stages of our prototypes and perform continuous controlling of the project progress in terms of quality, cost and time
  • You analyze and present with the team the current status and risk of your projects including mitigation directly to management  
Your fitness level
  • You successfully completed your university degree in a technical/engineering diciplin (e.g. industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, technology management) or Master Professional (dt.: Meister) in a technical field
  • You have at least 5 years of practical hands-on experience in project management or product development, in a lean or agile environment of a manufacturing or engineering consulting company
  • You bring a deep understanding in the complexity of managing the development of physical products and change management needed for process improvement
  • You score with your pragmatic hands-on mentality, enthusiasm to share your knowledge and being proactive not struggling to take over the steering wheel and bringing in your ideas
  • You are empathic, a strong communicator and have proficiency in problem solving and troubleshooting
  • You are fluent in English, German is a clear plus
Your training goal for your first 6 months
  • You established a good day to day collaboration with the project management team
  • You are a known and well-connected member of our Hardware Engineering department and have developed a deep understanding of our teams, tools, and processes
  • You took on at least one project to develop an understanding of our workflows
  • You identified areas of improvement in our product development documentation, workflows and processes with our Hardware Teams and developed a vision of standardized, future-oriented documentation solutions
