  • You take responsibility for your own PCBA development projects from ideation to implementation in mass production 
  • You challenge our currently technology by using it, understanding it, testing it and evaluating data from the field
  • You closely collaborate with our sourcing, mechanical and software engineering teams to create the best holistic solutions with the customer in focus
  • You take part in advancing our department’s structure, processes and scalability 
  • You document your technical work, manage your tasks and share your progress transparently according to our “scrumban” development methodology
YOUR FITNESS LEVEL
  • You have a master’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent educational background
  • You have at least 4 years of professional experience as an engineer in a developer role
  • You have successfully concepted and designed a printed circuit board with state of the art eCAD software
  • You know your way around electronic debugging, laboratory measurements and technical documentation 
  • You have experience with software development or scripting solutions necessary for efficiently testing and debugging electronics
  • You can prove knowledge of two or more of the following technologies
    • embedded software development (C, C++)
    • embedded computing solutions (eg. ARM based SoCs)
    • High speed PCB design
    • Statistics and data analysis
    • Relational databases, cloud databases
    • IoT solutions or smart industry automation
    • EMC and regulatory compliance in electronics
  • You self sufficiently manage your time, milestones and dependencies in assigned projects
  • You speak and write in English with professional efficiency. German language skills are a plus
YOUR TRAINING GOAL FOR YOUR FIRST 6 MONTHS
  • You take ownership of a new PCBA development project in an early stage
  • You take part in concepting system integration of new technologies
  • You share your knowledge and experience of electronics design and development processes with the team
  • You understand the EGYM  product portfolio and technical solutions in hardware 
  • You enjoy EGYM’s lively and open working environment and actively participate in our feedback culture
