About the Opportunity

 

To support the next phase of hyper-growth, the Events Manager will spearhead our event marketing activities and focus on delivering quality experiences for our customer and prospects. Our fearless leaders and cross-functional partners are excited to invest in in-person events, so it’s the perfect time to join the team and build a world-class event program. 

How You'll Make an Impact:

  • Spearhead event execution. Build and accelerate pipeline and drive revenue. Facilitate vendor selection and contract negotiations. Collaborate with all event stakeholders to drive the most impactful event experience.
  • Showcase administrative and operational expertise. Submit vendor invoices and track expenses, submit event credit card receipts to finance, schedule critical event meetings & record meeting minutes and action items. Draft event documentation including event program plans, attendee intel trackers, host guides and attendee guides. Have a heavy focus on tracking and attributing any opportunities coming from our events.
  • Provide on-site event support. Coordinate live events by monitoring registration and attendance, venue set up, exhibit booth logistics, and providing other support when needed. Support demand and lead generation efforts at the event (booth scans, tracking sales conversations, giving away swag, etc.).  
  • Be a trusted partner. Collaborate with sales, customer success, content, design, product marketing, revenue marketing, operations, our partner marketing team, and Salsify executives to support all aspects of Salsify’s involvement in industry trade shows, conferences, and regional field marketing events.
  • Engage your audience with creativity. Support experiential events, happy hours, and tradeshow experiences that will not only leave a lasting impression but drive revenue and growth. 

Expected Impact: Increase brand awareness, enhance customer experience, influence current pipeline and generate new pipeline 

Key Event Focus Areas: Field marketing events, regional user groups, conferences & trade shows, & other customer-focused events
