ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

 

Salsify is headquartered in Boston, MA. This position is open to remote employees in the US. 

Salsify is searching for a Senior Global Strategic Alliances Director to develop our strategic partner selling and business development plan with today’s leading global system integrator partners. 

This role will report directly to the VP of Partners and Alliances, with a strong partnership line with VP of Sales leaders in North America, UK and France.  You should be seen as a key leader in both the Global partner organization and Sales leadership teams at Salsify.  The primary goal of this role is to align Salsify’s platform to integrate with the predominant technology and consulting partnerships that enhance a customer’s digital transformation journey for the digital shelf. The chosen candidate will be a business leader, alliance professional, customer outcome driven sales leader, with strong general management capabilities to build, lead, and mentor matrixed GTM teams to achieve joint strategic outcomes.

How You'll Make an Impact:

  • Execute the partner plan across North America and Northern and Southern Europe, inclusive of strategic alliance partner practice types and partner routes to market. 
  • Lead a team of matrixed partner go-to-market field professionals to drive partner engagement in customer accounts and build a pipeline of sales opportunities involving partner teams across the region
  • Ensure the development of sales and technical skills within the partner ecosystem to drive demand and customer success
  • Oversee the development and delivery of joint marketing campaigns and field engagement with partners and Salsify field teams
  • Coordinate the development of industry and departmental solutions with partners aligned with their areas of expertise and develop sales plays to apply these solutions in joint sales motions
  • Build and manage relationships with internal stakeholders across the business in Sales, Marketing, Customer and Delivery Partner Success, Professional Services and Product
  • Build executive relationships with the leadership of key partners across the region and facilitate partner engagement with other members of the Salsify leadership team
  • Collaborate with cross-functional Salsify leadership to scale the strategic alliance(s) across North America and Europe

You'll Enjoy This Role If You Have:

  • 10+ years of overall experience 
  • Domain expertise of modern commerce technologies.  Be fluent in what’s relevant to the C-Suite today.
  • Connections within our target technology, system integrator and consulting partners, which include: Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, TCS, EPAM, and, Cognizant. 
  • Know their businesses and the people that drive them. 
  • Several years of experience and a track record of building successful partnerships with software, technology / cloud computing, SI, and consulting companies.
  • A collaborative connector and influential leadership style, without ego.  Be able to align interests and get people onto the journey. 
  • Alignment to Salsify’s core values.  
  • Geo located and able to travel to where the action is happening. 
  • Experience leading a matrixed team of professionals ideally building from an opportunistic relationship to deliver multi-million partner influenced ARR. 
  • Ideally you’ve worked at a hypergrowth software company and experienced this stage of 10x growth from $50mil to $500mil.
