About the team

WeTransfer has always been about the “we”. That’s people first, creativity second, and technology third. And hey, we get that this might sound odd for a company that prides itself on connecting the world with creativity. As a People Team our mission is to enable and grow a united organization to let the people at WeTransfer be the most impactful they can be. From Employee Experience to Talent Acquisition to People Operations, we are challenged with new questions and opportunities every single day. We make sure that our managers and teams are supported throughout their entire journey with us. And that’s where you’ll come in.

We are looking for an experienced People Operations Coordinator to join us in our goal of ensuring as a People Team we are brilliant at the basics and are flawless in our execution, where managers and employees are empowered through the work we do, and that as a team we are both human driven but also data informed.

In this role we will be looking at you to help us drive operational efficiencies whilst keeping our people front and center. You will ensure a flawless and smooth administrative process for all company-wide people processes and initiatives, including but not limited to the administrative onboarding and offboarding of employees, the coordination and approval process of contract renewals, ARBO and UWV-processes, People Metrics and more.

You will be responsible for:

  • Be the first point of contact and support for most employee queries, together with taking ownership for all administrative and coordination tasks in the employee life cycle. This includes employment contracts, extensions, residence and work permits, reporting to the business on key people metrics such as sickness rate, turn over rate and on- and off-boarding in all our locations (we are expanding remotely!)

  • And if an employee is relocating to join us, we will be looking at you to help ensure they have a smooth welcome and integration

  • Prepare the input and overview of monthly changes for our payroll department…an eye for detail is critical here

  • Maintain our HRIS (Workday) and provide support in related projects

  • Initiate improvements by building and implementing an efficient people admin “machine” and automate all the necessary processes to generate a great employee experience, in collaboration with colleagues from across the business

  • Support with ensuring overall compliance from a People perspective

  • Manage the administration of new people programs, policies, processes and procedures with an emphasis on quality so that they can be effectively implemented

  • Create monthly and ad-hoc reports in order to ensure we make informed decisions across our team and the business

What we hope you will bring…

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience working in a people first company

  • Flexible mindset and the willingness to take on new opportunities and challenges as they arise

  • Knowledge of Dutch and/or UK Labor law

  • Data-driven mindset: easily work with Excel, data and reports

  • Knowledge of people processes and policies

  • Proactive and solution-focused mentality, willingness to go the extra mile for your colleagues

  • Fluent in Dutch & English to a professional business level, both spoken and written

If you have experience with the below, even better! But not critical:

  • Knowledge of Workday

  • Operational People experience in a fast-growing environment

  • Knowledge of automation

WeTransfer is an equal opportunity employer and we pride ourselves on the diversity of our people. We welcome you, and everything that makes you—well, you. That includes your gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, age, or disability status.

A note on remote

Our work environment is hybrid-remote, meaning that we support our employees to work remotely and in the office. We encourage employees to decide for themselves and with their team whether or when to go to the office.

We currently use an Employer of Record to hire remote roles with specific location-based eligibility requirements. You must have the right to reside and to work in the location you will be working from.

Background screening

While it is not necessarily a determining or disqualifying factor for any role, you may be required to complete a standard employment background screening..
