ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking for a driven and hungry Business Development Manager to join our rapidly growing business to drive our growth with a major focus on key retailers and brands within the NSW market. With more retailers shifting spend from offline to digital catalogue solutions, and global brands investing in digital touchpoints, we’re after a well connected hunter to capitalise on the market trends, with a hybrid focus across both retail and brand partnerships.

 

Reporting to our Head of Sales, you would be responsible for:

 

  • Develop and manage a comprehensive business development plan to drive revenue
  • Negotiating commercial agreements to deliver strategic and compelling proposals
  • Networking with key retail and agency prospects to build strategic partnerships
  • Understand and articulate the growing importance of online-to-offline attribution
  • Leverage ShopFully’s global relationships to help identify and close local opportunities
  • Keeping up to date with the changing digital landscape, ensuring a sound knowledge of industry best practice and benchmarks

 

 

SKILLS WE ARE SEARCHING FOR

Your passion for delivering excellent outcomes for your clients will be the key to your success in this fast paced role. Your experience will include but not be limited to:

 

  • 3+ years experience in media sales, ideally within the digital and/or performance marketing space selling in to Agencies/Retailers
  • Strong media agency or direct relationships across retail & brands
  • Have a passion for technology and the global / local digital landscape
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue expectations
  • Hungry to learn, grow and succeed while being part of an innovative organization
  • Have the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
  • Have a '"can-do" attitude, who looks at challenges as an opportunity to learn
  • Strong English verbal/written communication skills are a must
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks to ensure consistent pipeline growth in parallel to revenue target achievement
  • Tertiary qualification in marketing or business discipline preferred
