The Opportunity

 

As our  Chief Communications and Marketing Officer your mission is to position Featurespace as the most valued and respected enterprise fraud and financial crime prevention technology globally.

As part of this mission, you will:

  1. Build and protect Featurespace’s global brand and reputation
  2. Generate high quality leads that become customers and advocates

You will do this by helping us surprise and delight our customers, and by building belief and trust in the transformative impact of our people and technology.

This role can be based in either our Cambridge or London office, on a hybrid basis. Our Communications & Marketing team are based in Cambridge, so you will ideally be comfortable travelling to this office regularly. Day to Day

 

 

Communications

You will be responsible for executive communications, media and investor relations, social impact, events management, and corporate communications. You will also work closely with HR to oversee internal communications.

This will include:

  • Narrative development, message creation and alignment
  • Reputation management
  • Positioning and industry leadership
  • Leadership on company purpose, values, and culture
  • Crisis communications and issues management
  • Social media and content marketing
  • Data analysis, operationalization of communications plans and measurement
  • Strategic communications advice to the SMT

Marketing 

You will be responsible for planning, developing, implementing and monitoring the overall business marketing strategy.

This will include:

  • Setting overall brand direction and development, as well as marketing goals, objectives and key results
  • Align with product, sales and customer success teams around marketing objectives
  • Plan, implement and manage Featurespace’s global marketing strategy
  • Design, plan and execute effective marketing campaigns
  • Contribute to the overall growth of the company by generating high quality leads
  • Own the look and content of online channels to maximise visitor engagement and conversion
  • Review and manage content marketing strategy
  • Track marketing performance on a regular basis and present reports
  • Create and present the annual marketing strategy
  • Agree and maintain the marketing budget
  • Use data and reports to make evidence-based decisions
  • Stay up to date with the latest technology and best practices

About you

 

Must haves:

  • Extensive experience in strategic communications and marketing
  • Customer-centric focus
  • Well-developed communication and presentation skills – written and verbal
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • In-depth knowledge of goal setting, data analysis, and reporting
  • Proven leadership experience in global, diverse and multi-cultural environments
  • MBA, MA in Marketing, Management or similar relevant field

Great to haves:

  • Experience in a commercial and sales role, having to grow a business or service line
  • Consultancy experience in business strategy, strategic communications, or marketing
  • Financial communications experience
  • Relevant marketing certifications e.g. CIM
  • Hands-on experience with CRM and SEO tools like Google Analytics, Google Adwords, HubSpot, WebTrends, SalesForce
