The Role

Reporting into the Senior Marketplace manager, this position will be responsible to manage a core group of the contractor base, ensuring the growth and success of the UK Marketplace.

Along with contractor success, this role will focus on managing and delivering on key KPIs to ensure the continual growth and success of the marketplace, in line with company transactional revenue targets and growth plans.

You will be experienced in delivering against performance metrics and KPIs, be driven by passion and be responsible for managing the growth of contractors and driving process improvement across the contractor life cycle.


Responsibilities

  • To manage a number of contractor accounts
  • Update marketplace manager weekly/daily to ensure proactive service
  • Work closely with contractor acquisition and onboarding teams to ensure a seamless contractor user experience
  • To be an expert on the contractor side of the platform
  • To work alongside Client Account Management, Sales and Customer Service teams as part of regional contractor engagement campaigns
  • Help build and strengthen key relationships with both clients and contractors
  • To organise and coordinate all documents associated with contractors as part of verification process
  • Recognise and deal with customer queries, requests and problems
  • Managing and reporting on key KPIs
  • Take responsibility for all job leads generated through the key partners managed to deliver 100% conversion through the platform
  • Work closely with contractors to optimise the delivery of their services to clients
  • Work closely with contractors to optimise their revenue generating opportunities from the platform
  • Handle all aspects of contractor on-boarding and off-boarding

Requirements

Experience and Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a Account Manager role or similar
  • Experience delivering customer service through multiple communication channels, especially the telephone
  • Possesses excellent telephone skills for inbound and outbound calls
  • Experience with CRM and reporting tools and adept at using Excel
  • Good organisational skills, strong commercial awareness, drive and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to deal with a customers and supplier base, understanding different cultures and working practices
  • Work with a high degree of autonomy and cope well under pressure
  • Some experience of dealing with contractors/trade industry knowledge
